This comfortable, slouchy hat is a super easy knit, perfect as a first project for someone interested in trying cables.
The gauge for this hat is rather flexible. I am a very loose knitter, so tight knitters may want to go up one or two needle sizes to make a more loose and comfortable fabric.
I knit this up using some leftover Cascade Eco+ from a previous project. You should only need around 50g of heavy aran weight yarn. If you want to use a lighter yarn, like worsted weight, add multiples of 4 stitches to compensate for lost inches.
